Dan joined Valent Group in 2014 after serving in commercial lending with First American Bank. The bank’s insurance division was part of Birmingham-based ANB Insurance Services, which was acquired by Valent in 2007.

At the University of Alabama, Dan studied finance with a concentration in insurance and risk management. Now Dan serves commercial clients in Decatur and across the Southeast, providing insights into managing risk and addressing exposures in order to support clients’ business goals.
